American Gothic shows works by a new generation of young American artists, designers, and jewelers. Seeded in metalsmithing tradition, each artist uses materials in a way that is decisively their own, reflecting their won take on contemporary culture. While looking forward, this show is firmly grounded in the now; it is a coming-out party, a sweet 16, a presentation of New Americana.
